Another option would be that the OP could pack them in boxes and then call for FEDEX or UPS to come pick them up...

It is not as simple as that. I have never before packaged wheels to be thrown around by people who could not care less and I don't have the time to learn how to do it properly and with what.
Anyway, a local fellow enthusiast just got a great deal.
