Sterrico,

I just brought a europe switch from germany it was around 80 Euros. The install is easy. All you have to do is take the trim off for the vents and then you will have access to the swith. So the install is easy. The fog lights work very well with the new euro switch. I also found the euro switch from a seller here in the US. I hope this helps. Oh by the way the part number is :

61 31 91 69 404

P.S I just found the one which they sell here in the us. It seems like this one does not have the silver trim. However, here is the link for the site.

Oh what you also could try if you are technically inclined is to open the swith and exchange the turning know with your silver trim knob.
