Let me make sure I understand your question... the answer is
either:
1) If you have
not yet purchased the UUC/Corsa system for your sedan yet, you should follow what I wrote above (that you quoted), and purchase the coupe version instead.
2) If you have
already purchased the UUC/Corsa system for your sedan (or even coupe), you
might (I stress "might" because I have not experimented with this yet) be able to extend it a small amount by adjusting the clamp-together section of the exhaust as shown in this pic:
Again, I stress that I have not experimented with this yet and cannot tell you how well it will work.
