I never had an issue with the Comfort Access. Always worked when the car had been running and if I turned it off and returned within an hour to start the car again the doors would open on approach. There are reports of others who have this as their primary issue and hence I would start there to disable this first. (Notably watch the car's behaviour first with the ipod removed/detached when you leave the car).
