i agree-my car had a slight roughness shifting into second, much less than what you're describing,and the trans was replaced under warranty. now,the shift into second is still a bit different,but overall it shifts quite smoothly.i'm going to try giving it some gas going into second on the upshift,i already do this on the downshift,this sounds like a good hint.
