At the end of the day, it's up to you to decide if you want to switch or not. I don't think there will ever be a definitive answer as to what you should run because there are so many opinions. It also depends how you use your car too. If it's mostly street driven, then absolutely I would switch to M1. I've also taken it on mountain runs during hot days and it performed very well (car has never seen track time though).
