Yep, probably the best and wisest choice. It is a very reliable vehicle as well as a very safe one...
Midsize family sedan will be your best bet for safety which should be the number one priority. Civics, Corollas and Mazda3's, Scions and all others in that class are all too small and have very short frames.
SUV's and most trucks are also a no-no due to rollover risk.
4 Cylinder coupe would be best option.
