Guys Jim here at CWS/NUTEK, KLASSEN; Before people start flinging mud there are facts that need to be brought to the table...of course everyone in the wheel business never wants to deal with this sort of situation, however the facts are this;
This set of wheels was purchased second hand, they came off a Lambo that was twin turbo charged making over 900hp, during the nearly 2 years they were on that vehicle the customer never had any issues. Recently that customer sold these wheels to another party and the wheels were taken apart and refinished, unfortunately they were not sent to us to conduct this service so somebody other than Klassen has modified and worked on the wheels, which in most cases would void any warranty involvement, but we are very concerned about this happening and we are taking the steps to continue standing behind our product.
Before everyone starts throwing mud it is valuable to find out the facts, because there are many possibilities other than the wheel itself that could have caused this situation...one example is this could have occurred if the installer did not torque the lugs properly and the wheel came loose on the car, if this is the case then we will find out...in the meantime we have stepped up and are paying the freight to have the entire set of wheels sent to us for inspection, and we will work with the customer to find a resolution and stand behind our product.
In the meantime I think some professional courtesy is in order, and under no circumstances did we ever deny or refuse to stand behind our product, no matter what Customer Service is Priority #1. Frank and I have been in this business for many years and reputation means everything, so please know that we are taking every measure to stand behind our products and we will continue to do so considering the circumstances.
