I said that but now that I am getting faster and moving up to more advanced run groups, I'm more inclined to get a HANS. The speeds are higher, the cars get a little closer and stakes are getting higher.
I think James Clay from Bimmerworld made an interesting sell. His perspective was that a HANS is likely the difference from feeling like crap for awhile or feeling like crap for a day or two. If you think about the potential costs associated with being all messed up, the HANS might be a worthy investment.
