so I put it on my visa and at the end of the month have the wife make out the cheque to pay the whole thing

oh I tanked today ... rolled into the gas station on fumes I think ... filled up it was $81.24 (that included 13% Tax $9.35) included for 61.63 litres @ $1.318/Litre on average I go thru 2 tanks a month ... more if I take longer trips

Bottom line depends on Distance+Drive Style = High or Low Visa Bill
