Been going to The Montreal GP on & off since the 1st race there in 1978 and raced there 3 times in the support races for the GP.In 78 we were there on the Thursday and got to hang out in the garages and watched the warmup of G V's 312 Ferrari including looking down the inlet trumpets and watching the fuel coming out the injectors!Used to enjoy going to watch before they restricted the public access like it is today.Getting on & off the island is a real pain and it does end up being a super expensive weekend if you do it properly.However hanging out on Crescent St in the evening can make it all worthwhile
