I never understood this....maybe cause I've never been married....
but when I want something, or if she pisses me off, I withhold from having with my gf until things are 'right' again

I've never had a woman every threaten to withhold sex.... they want it too much
For me, my gf and I are going to a couple weddings soon, and I picked out the dress, and in order for her to wear it she needs to lose about 7 lbs (she's about 115 now, which is too much for a petite asian woman).
She was around 105 when I met her. I was about 225...we have each gained 10 lbs....percentage wise, she's gain more though, and I point this out to her all the time
