I never understood the reason why they have a separate addon for Navigation. Do these GPS units fail that frequently? Or is the cost so high to repair it (compared to an S65 motor?) that it mandates such a large % of the warranty cost?
Does the "Navigation" component mean the iDrive controller, LCD, computer? It's so integrated in the car these days. How do you distinguish between components responsible for GPS vs just the system/computer controlling the iDrive?
