Agreed that these look good, but I don't know that they will provide firmer positioning on the track unless they happen to "fit" you just right. The bolsters don't look adjustable to me, and that makes a huge difference.
The weight of stock M3 seats was confirmed at 62.6lbs. each, and the Performance seats are 55.0 each, for a difference of 7.6 lbs each or 15.2 lbs./pair in this thread:
