In London, residential parking space is a premium and its mainly street parking. This makes the roads very narrow as cars can be parked either side. On my road, if there is an oncoming vehicle almost always one of us would have to find an inlet somehwere and pull in to allow the other guy through. This means that you are driving on the line all the time. My 51 (2001) Honda Civic is spotless except for the wing mirrors that are battered and bruised in every way possible.

Folding mirrors are a blessing!!! If they were only key activated or automatic.
