2008 e90 with 78k miles replaced with BE's in May 2018 by German Motorworks in Nashville, TN. Great shop by the way!
Mine had some unusual wear on the bottoms in particular.
I'm also adding pics of my stock mounts which were starting to separate that were replaced at the same time.
I am the 2nd owner and had just bought the car and parked it until I got this done a week later. Glad I did it! Thank you to everyone on the forum who have brought this very real issue to light.
