my 2008 M3 is CCC. in indonesia dealer cannot upgrade software from CCC to CIC. they asked me if i want to change must change whole unit it cost me $4500  they said if only change idrive 65 82 9 189 048 it will not work. i think dealer just want easy way and rip my money  once i order and it will not work i can't refund or exchange.
1. is your car system already CIC?
2. beside idrive & console what other hardware should i buy?
3. from CCC to CIC is it just software update or its different hardware ?
4. is the same pin old idrive with new drive?
5. is new idrive will work with CCC?
