Agreed that no way that deserves Top 5 status, except for the fact that its FWD and handles surprisingly well. Also, be aware they're not talking about the regular R26,
it's the R26.R, which handily beats the 335i around the Nurburgring. Still, top 5? 35 spots higher than the Atom? No, I don't think so.
My impression is that the list could instead be titled "our favorite cars that we and other car writers drool over." Some for their directness, some for their power, some for their uniqueness, like the R26.R. For the most part, it's a list of pretty cool cars, though.
