You haven't seen it because it was made SOOOO long ago (almost two years!) the post got buried.
I think I was one of the first people to start this valve based and stock exhaust mod stuff.
Placement really doesn't bother me, they dont really stick out and when I do see them, I like it.. makes my car special. When you look at the car you dont really see them - blends in with the other silver bits on the exhaust. I think its the low angles of the shots that I took in the thread that make them look so awkward. I have to point them out to car people to even see them. Literally the only person that has pointed them out to me and asked about them the entire time I've had them installed is a BMW mechanic who did an oil change and had it up on a lift. You have to be quite far back to even start to see them..
