spacers less than 10mm can not be machined with a hub centric extension. spacers 5-9mm generally do not leave enough material for the wheel to catch the factory lip, and 10mm spacers can be just short enough to float on the factory lip and not seat properly (which will end up cracking the extension off the spacer).
