Not sure, but I would not be surprised if it fell off like an N54/N55 (probably not as bad though). One point to it would be to allow the car to land higher up in the powerband when hitting the next gear. I.e you start to lose power in the higher rev range, but you'd be making even less if you had to shift to the next gear earlier.
