wouldn't you be annoyed if you're at home enjoying time with your family when some 370Z or some classic mustang with an equally loud exhaust, M3 drivers would prob think "how obnoxious/rice", but "regular" ppl see BMW's with loud exhaust and think the same thing, "how obnoxious". please don't add to the stereotype blaring ur exhaust around, its just a 3 series

Yeah, gotta agree with this. I *hate* noise around the home. Leaf blowers / Harley's / grapefruit pipes hanging off accords / Ferrari's revving their engines. Well, the last doesn't happen, but it'd still piss me off in evening.
