I'm surprised nothing has been mentioned about the DSC, I honestly thought we would have seen subtle differences between the M3 and this.
One of the most beautiful BMWs ever and in that colour it's plain glorious.

Where this is a plainer focus racer you will see the M version of the 1series being very much in the spirit of the orginial E30 M3, i.e. light and not with mountains of power. Whether it's actually called an M1 is doubtful but you never know.

On one of the pics, you can see the standard DSC button. Not sure what the technical specs will be though.
