Sure you can get an idea of how much hp you will gain
IN THAT TEST with no real world air flow around the vehicle, which then can be positively correlated with real world hp gains or not, mostly depending on how much the mod in question relies on aerodynamic effects. Of course the intake in most modern/sporty cars relies heavily on aerodynamics as will intake related mods.
