I understand that some tires have been replaced under warranty.
According to my salesguy, BMW/Michelin have issued a campaign on the tires as there are occurances of cuts/cracks in the sidewalls. My delivery was delayed for a week to have all four tires inspected and/or replaced. In my case, one tire showed signs of failure, and was replaced.

I have been told that on the first service, a thourough inspection of the tires will take place again, with replacement as necessary.

Hmmmmmm..........sounds like BMW/Michelin are taking this pretty seriously. Though they are stepping up to the problem, it doesnt give me too much confidence knowing that the technology on these expensive run-flats is not meeting a very high level of safety.
