True, government knows they're running out of oil soon (less than 10 years to go, I think), that's why they've been spending loads building up infrastructure to foster tourism, real estate, financial services industry etc. - one of the reasons to try and hog the global limelight.
I think Dubai is a phenomenal place, I would like to go and visit one day...
