In the spring yes, but I wanted to fit tyres now cause I wanted to see what they will be like in our Blighty weather.
I have spoken at length with Michelin about the pros and cons. The tread depth is 4mm and then with the two types of tread patten, will make for some interesting handling in damp conditions. Michelin did say that these tyres are significantly better than those that were made for E46 csl - especially in the wet and it says that in their blurb too - which is why they are being offered as a tyre for the new M3. BUT of course one will have to take it steady in the wet - which you do on the road anyway.
They did also confirm that with these tyres on the M3 lapped the ring 10 seconds faster than the standard fitment.
There are not many of these tyres available in UK so I going for it.
I'll take some photos of the tyres before they get fitted and post them.
