I think most of "us" (at least among folks I know, I have not done any research) have some vague idea. Something along the lines of "My mom's family were mostly German and French and my dad's family were Irish and English". For a large percentage of "us", the mix is so varied by now, real percentages are rare to actually know. But I know some still do. My sense, and this coming from a position of ignorance and is purely anecdotal, is that Asians started mixing more recently and tended to reproduce within their own ethnic groups longer than white people. Again, don't know that, but I know lots of Asians and very few are mixed. Like, I am thinking maybe zero, among my acquaintances.
