The experience of driving a Ferrari is worth the money. It's so different from normal cars. Both for the driver and for the "audience". Even when cruising around with my friends older F355, it attracts so much attention it's crazy.

However maintenance costs are totally mind-blowing. $1400 per year won't get you very far, especially if you are serious about tracking it even a tiny bit. Repairs are about 3 to 4 times more expensive compared to a BMW. Parts are just crazy expensive.

Reliability has been improved alot on the F430 though, compared to previous generations. You wouldn't wanna know what has broken on my friends F355 in just one year of ownership. From melted valves to exploded flywheel, it's crazy.

And the interior quality is not that great either on these cars. It's all about the engine
