Congrats! I just went the other way. Unloaded my Cobb stage 2 GTR after about a year of owning it. Hugely fast but for me hugely boring and I absolutely hated the Nissan dealer experience.

Anyhow, GL to OP - that's a nice specimen! If it turns out that it is your cup of tea I am sure you will stay in it forever and if not, at least you won't lose much (I didn't)

For me I'd rank it 4th of all the cars I've owned. NSX first (my Comptech one in particular), 911 C2 second, E92 3rd and GTR 4th. For me 10 second quarter miles or record setting ring times are a really small part of the equation though.

As for 911T vs GTR you need to drive both extensively. For some people they'd prob insist that there is "no difference". For me it's huge. It isn't about the tech and gadget equivalency, it's about the feel and feedback of the car and that is purely subjective so not really worth debating. This is why I rank the GTR 4th and, again, that's purely subjective. As another example I *hate* driving the Viper, and this is also a car where super fans get angry if you don't say you died and went to heaven in it . I also had the true pleasure of driving a F355 on a track and, while slow as s h I t in this company, it was *by far* my #1 (but I didn't own it so it doesn't count! Lol)

I did find the GTR interior to be a bit cheap looking, unfortunately, and honestly pretty crappy for its price class. Infinitis are better overall really from that perspective. It's a similar problem as the Z06 or Viper, but not nearly as bad Again, this is something you need to own the car to really understand and, of course, many couldn't care any less.

Someone asked about back seat... E92 back seat is MUCH roomier. GTR is more akin to 911 - ie barely usable. Mainly for small kids or stuff. My wife is 5'02 and felt claustrophobic in back when she'd ride there to keep the kid busy. At 6 the kid was starting to feel a little closed in also on her booster seat. It's good in a pinch but not really a "4 seater" (again like 911)

At the end of the day, for people who are purely driven by bottom line #s, or who want a truly exotic experience and *massive* attention, there is NO other car to get south of a hundred grand IMO. If your goals are to be the star of Cars and Coffee, dominate stoplight racing or the track/strip with little effort, and have 1000 people a day pointing at you (and you can't afford a Ferrari or Lamborghini and no other criteria would ever even dawn on you), then the GTR is a no brainer. For me literally none of those things mattered and so.... C'est la vie! She is gone

Whats77... LOVE that Vehicross man. Great taste! My buddy has a yellow one. One of the coolest badass trucks ever IMO.
