I would do my research and pick the right company. I moved from New Jersey to California and used google to find a broker which gets you the cheapest rate. shipped my 2005 C55 AMG across country for about $900. I got the car, signed off on it and then a few hours later someone noticed a crack in the front bumper. next thing i noticed was a clunking sound coming from the rear passenger side wheel area. took the car in and i thad $3000 in damage to the suspension and bumper. will never go the cheap route again. there are shipping companies out there that specialize in "exotic" car transport and have fully enclosed. pay the extra money and do it right.

I hear good things about http://www.magiccarpetautotransport.com/
i have not used though. maybe someone else has.
