My M is a 2008 with 31,000 miles still under warranty. This morning I got into my car and put the car in reverse and the error message displayed. ****transmission not in P******
I'm thinking thats odd I just put into reverse and as I step on the pedal nothing happened. I tried couple times shifting into reverse and D, still nothing happened. I just called roadside assistance to have it towed to my nearby dealership. Has anyone had similar issues and can share your experience with the dealership? Did they replace the whole transmission or just internal parts. How long was the downtime. Thanks in advance
