It would seen logical that faster shift times would reduce the ET as the car stops accelerating while it is shifting and in fact begins to slow down as power is not being applied to the drive wheels.

I am confused as to whether a 200 millisecond difference in shift time will equate to a 200 miilisecond better ET (assuming one gear shift).
