Nissan's warranty on the GTR has always been fine. They explicitly said launching the 09 would void the warranty. Yet there were still some that repeatedly launched the car and whined when the tranny went south. FWIW, the 09 could handle a lot of abuse.
My only gripe about the newer ones is that Nissan now allows use of LC but have tightened the optimal operating parameters so much that the car will go into a hobble mode if you run it a little hot. I have had this issue on both my '12 and '13.
