AD08 and RE-11 are really, really similar. Yoko has a small edge in grip on a dry surface, which is offset to some degree by the RE-11 being a little more communicative and progressive in breakaway at the limit.
Both tires are excellent, and I would recommend either to someone who wants maximum dry grip, roadworthy but not amazing wet grip, and capability for autocross or light track duty.
