That's all relative. Your purchasing power should be higher in Sweden. When you convert Euros to Dollars for pricing the M3, things look strange, but the same applies to your salary. (I have a cousin who lives in Norway, and the man lives like a king with his engineer's salary whenever he leaves Norway). Plus, you don't pay out of your pocket for education, health care, retirement funds, and other similar things. You pay for those through taxes on the M3, a pint of beer in a pub, etc! So, we can whine all we want in the US.
