I know this is an unusual post but i'm reaching out anywhere I can.

Anyone looking to adopt, or know anyone wanting to adopt a cat?

We are looking for a home for "Ellen". She was a stray that we found, took in, and now in search of a good home to give her to. We don't know if she had a previous owner, but it seems that she must have had one b/c she is house trained and good mannered around people. We assume that she was put out b/c no one is looking for her.

She has been to the Vet, been given a check-up, chipped, no rabies, and given immunizations. She is pretty much healthy.

I do not know what breed she is, other than she is still young, short-haired, all black with green eyes. She is very well mannered, enjoys attention, but has a little feisty side to her as well.

We are looking to give her away for free, and all we care about is finding a good home. Her medical expenses have been paid for. Our last resort is putting her in a shelter. We'd keep her except my wife has two cats already.

She is available in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area.
