Couldn't agree with you more. I currently own a 335 but was holding out to see the pricing on the M3. We can go back and forth all day about the pros and cons.....the one thing that jumped out (to me) was price:
08 Vette with darn near every option in the book sells for about 55K (dealer invoice or possible invoice +1K)
M3 STARTS at $57K...and when I added the options I wanted I was up close to $68K
~$13K is alot of money....somewhere around $250/month on the car payment.
That being said...no way to "win" on one side or the other. Vette people will always back their cars and likewise for the BMW crowd.
