There are alot of videos on how to properly bed in your brakes. Basically, just find a long straight, get up to speed, and progressively hit the brakes without coming to a full stop, then speed up and repeat. If you come to a full stop during the bedding process, that can also result in an uneven transfer of pad material. If you re-balanced your wheels and got an alignment done recently, that shimmy or judder in your wheel is probably because of uneven film transfer.
