UPDATE: I guess someone already posted on this Looong thread that our cars do not have enough juice to power an external HDD
, however if anyone has any information to the contrary kindly chime in...
Does anyone know if I can use a blank external HDD to run this upgrade? I have a 09 Z4 with a glove box USB reader, however don't have a USB stick that is >8GB but have an empty HDD with 1.5TB capacity that I can format to FAT32.
Can I copy all the ISO's and extract the files to the root and hope the system will recognize what to do??
