Seriously, look at 1/4 mile trap speed. The new M3 is probably going to trap at 112-114mph. Compare that to the previous M3 or the 335i.

0-60 is really fun, dramatic and you can do it often (almost) without going to jail. Sure we all know it is not the ultimate metric of sports car performance but it is important. Also it does say something about how well the chassis can ensure traction, hook up, weight transfer, etc. to contribute to a good 0-60 time.
