Turned out better than expected.
Work has been slow. Started looking for something new, had an interview. Everything went well, got an offer this Monday. Offer was good, but I was persuaded to counter offer. Sent counter offer. The place didnt budge. Got laid off this morning. Getting a severance package and starting in 2 weeks. Process went better than expected.
