From what everyone is saying here, I guess it's impossible to tell now. My guess is your goal of $1K/month might be possible with some solid negotiating. But even then, you might be looking at up to $100/month more than the $1K.
If my monthly is more than $1,200/month, I might actually consider an M5 considering I could get one for about the same monthly.
