If you need every option under the sun; go used. Seems options cause even worse of a resale hit.
If you're relatively low-option spec'ed, I'd get new. I don't trust anyone to break in an M3 engine properly around my neck of the woods. Mostly a bunch of dbags and hooligans that drive M3s.
