Typical BMW BS. My 2003 330i has had a valve tick on start like no other E46 the dealership has ever heard. Nontheless, they printed out a Service Bulletin that says that it's "normal." Sure.
All this does is screw our resale value. How can I sell a car that valve ticks for 20 secs when the buyer starts it up? How would you sell a car that clunks when some guy drives it?
One more reason I'm thinking my next car will be a CPO 911.
