Thanks everyone for your input....
i have 255/30 275/30 on my e46 M with not issues... i can't remember, but someone had this really awesome excel sheet for 18 and 19 on e46 M3s with alot of info about sizes and reported rubbing/handling issues from other users

i think i'll stick with the stocks for now with 15/12 spacers coz i really don't want to deal with rubbing issues...

... i've got to get snow shoes anyways, i'll most likely get 255/35 275/35 for those and figure the stockers and can be my winter rims...new nice rims this spring

i'm taking it to bimmerWorks in the afternoon so see what i can about trim and the rims (paint/powdered matte black)
