I recently purchased a '08 M5...I decided to get a VentureShield...
I drove the car from the dealer to the installer (50 miles) and got a rock chip on the center of the hood on the way to the VS installer
The installer repaired it....but I still know it is there...
Having driven the car for 3 months...no rock chip since...the film is perfect...and the bugs just wipe off...
For maintanence...I use Zaino...and couldn't be happier....
