No worries . You're fine with your CTEK 3300 during the whole winter .
I use mine always with my central connector . Only one click and I charge in 10 sec. My central connector is connected permanent with the O-rings on the poles from my battery. And it stays there .
My CTEK came with the central connector , it was one kit.
I don't use it with bluetooth or smart phone . I keep it simple , because I know CTEK does the job like it should be (smart charge)
And of course CTEK prolongs the lifetime from every battery !
