Holy cow... I made the mistake of NOT keeping up; I posted somewhere near page 14, and now 30+ pages later... WOW.
Dooma350, congrats on the good news so far, and thx for the props many many pgs ago.
I freely admit that I registered so that I can show my support; we may drive different beasties, but that doesn't mean someone can cheat a consumer so blatantly.
It was really interesting reading thru the hate wars between people... I think we forgot why we are here-- to back a fellow consumer up in a deal. MalibuBimmer, I appreciated your perspective on things, and I really hope Dooma350, that you do have a lawyer at your side. There are plenty of Van Tuyl dealership stories that float around here locally, so I sincerely hope you get what you won: a good car at a good price.
I also hope that someone/anyone at the dealership can look you in the eye, shake your hand and honestly say "Hiya. We screwed up. Let's make things right."
Keep us to date... and dammit, there better NOT be a quiz on this thread!
