It may end up being a good business move, but it also lessens the exclusivity of the brand. Just depends what your main goal is. HRE still sits at the top of the wheel food chain, but I find this move a bit questionable. Kinda like BMW creating their "M sport" line. It cheapens the M namesake a bit.
